This is a seventh 3xDES receive decrypt key slot, 192 bits (24 bytes, entered as 48 characters) long, one of the unit's 8 available key slots for encrypted-link key management. As with the others, it lets a new key be loaded and verified before the link is actually switched over to use it, minimizing the risk of a failed rekey taking the satellite link down.
