What is eponTrafficProfileCfgCir?
This integer (64-10240000, in kbps) configures the Committed Information Rate: the guaranteed minimum bandwidth this traffic profile promises to any port or ONU bound to it, even when the shared PON is congested. Admins tune it because CIR is the floor a subscriber's service tier is contractually guaranteed, distinct from any burst ceiling. For example, setting eponTrafficProfileCfgCir to 5000 guarantees a '5M Basic' subscriber at least 5 Mbps even during peak-hour PON contention.
