Description: Description.

What is eponSlaProfileServiceFixPacketSize?

This read-write integer (64-2000 bytes) tells the EPON DBA scheduler the fixed packet size it should assume for a given service queue when computing that queue's fixed-bandwidth grant, an internal scheduling tuning parameter rather than an actual frame filter. Admins adjust it to make the fixed-bandwidth math match the traffic type the queue actually carries. For example, setting eponSlaProfileServiceFixPacketSize to 1518 (a full Ethernet frame) tunes the fixed-bandwidth calculation for a bulk-data service queue that mostly carries maximum-size frames.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CDATA-EPON-MIB::eponSlaProfileServiceFixPacketSize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.34592.1.3.1.1.1.7.2.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CDATA-EPON-MIB::eponSlaProfileServiceFixPacketSize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.34592.1.3.1.1.1.7.2.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> eponSlaProfileServiceFixPacketSize.1
