What is eponOnuOpticalAlarmProfileId?
This integer (0-50, or 65535 as a sentinel) selects which optical alarm profile — and therefore which upper/lower optical-power thresholds — applies to this specific ONU's transceiver monitoring. Admins bind a looser optical profile to ONUs on longer PON legs where a lower baseline receive level is normal and expected, not a fault. For example, assigning optical alarm profile 3, a 'long-reach' profile with a lower Rx floor, to an ONU on a distant PON leg avoids false alarms for a receive level that is lower but still healthy for that distance.
