Description: Description.

What is eponOnuLoidAuthenLoid?

This OCTET STRING (1-24 bytes) holds a Logical ONU ID (LOID), an identifier the ONU itself is provisioned to present at registration, used as an alternative to MAC-based authentication when devices get swapped without the OLT's MAC list being updated. Admins use LOID auth specifically because it survives a hardware swap that MAC-based whitelisting would not. For example, entering LOID 'SUBSCR00123456' via eponOnuLoidAuthenLoid lets that specific subscriber authenticate under their logical ID even if the physical ONU hardware is later replaced.
