What is eponOnuCatvPortRxPower?
This read-only OCTET STRING (0-32 bytes) reports the received RF/optical power level at the ONU's CATV port, used to diagnose weak or missing broadcast video signal at the customer premises. Admins pull it remotely rather than dispatching a technician on every video complaint. For example, checking eponOnuCatvPortRxPower remotely when a customer reports 'snowy' or missing TV channels can reveal a reading far below spec, pointing to a bad splitter or fiber tap rather than requiring an immediate truck roll.
