What is eponDbaProfileFixRate?
This sets the fixed upstream bandwidth, in kbps, guaranteed to every ONU/LLID bound to this DBA profile, per the description and the UNITS clause in its syntax. Because this is a fixed, always-granted allocation relevant whenever eponDbaProfileType includes the fix component, setting it too high across many subscribers on a shared EPON trunk can reserve more aggregate upstream capacity than the PON physically has, starving assured- or max-tier traffic even while the fixed-rate subscribers aren't actively using their full allocation. A value of 2048 reserves a constant 2 Mbps of upstream bandwidth per bound subscriber regardless of whether they're actually sending traffic.
