What is cat2600TsPortResetStats?
Writing reset(3) to this object zeroes out every traffic counter tracked for this specific port (and resets cat2600TsPortResetTimer to zero), giving the admin a clean baseline without touching any other port or the switch's global counters. An admin uses this before starting a controlled troubleshooting test on one problematic port, so subsequent counter readings reflect only traffic since the test began. For example, resetting port 5's stats before running a cable diagnostic lets the admin see clearly whether new CRC errors accumulate during the test.
