What is cat2600TsNumResets?
This counts how many soft resets the switch has performed since its last hard reset or power cycle, whether triggered by writing softReset(3) to cat2600TsReset, pressing the physical front-panel button, using the console, or an internal firmware-induced reset. An admin watches this counter for unexpected increments, since a switch that's soft-resetting itself repeatedly (without the admin doing it) usually points to a firmware bug or hardware instability worth escalating. Seeing this jump from 2 to 9 overnight with no admin action would be a strong signal of an unattended crash loop.
