Description:
Maximum round-trip propagation delay for cable plant in Microseconds. Should be configured for the furthest CM in all cable groups containing this DownChannel. Default of 1600 Microseconds is approxiamately 100 miles between the CMTS and the furthest CM.
What is cadIfDownChannelMaxRoundTripDelay?
Configures the maximum expected round-trip propagation delay in microseconds for cable modems served by this downstream channel, representing the farthest modem distance on the cable plant. This value is used by the CMTS ranging process to correctly time upstream transmissions.
