Description: For packet-oriented interfaces, the number of inbound packets that contained errors preventing them from being deliverable to a higher-layer protocol. For character- oriented or fixed-length interfaces, the number of inbound transmission units that contained errors preventing them from being deliverable to a higher-layer protocol.

What is infInErrors?

Reports the number of inbound packets or transmission units that contained errors and could not be delivered to a higher-layer protocol. This counter helps identify signal quality or hardware issues on the interface.
