bwaVLToSPrioritizationOption

Module: BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB::bwaVLToSPrioritizationOption

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.1.1.7.10.2.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Access: read-write

Description: Applicable to all units. Disable/Enable IP ToS prioritization and choose the interpretation of the IP ToS field from IP header. ipPrecedence(2): The IP ToS field is defined by RFC791. In this case the prioritization will be done using the Precedence sub-field of IP ToS. This sub-field has 3 bits, so it can be between 0 and 7. dSCP(3): The IP ToS field is defined by RFC2474. In this case the prioritization will be done using the DSCP sub-field. The size of the sub-field is 6 bits, so the range is 0 to 63.

What is bwaVLToSPrioritizationOption?

Enables or disables IP Type-of-Service (ToS) based prioritization and selects how the ToS field is interpreted—either as IP Precedence (RFC 791) or DSCP (RFC 2474). This determines which sub-field of the IP header drives HIGH/LOW priority classification on the wireless link.
