bwaVLAntennaGain

Module: BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB::bwaVLAntennaGain

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.1.1.6.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: Applicable to all units. Read-write in units where bwaVLAntennaGainChange is supported. Read-only in units where bwaVLAntennaGainChange is not supported. The net gain (including cable attenuation for detached antennas) of the antenna. Range: 0 - to Maximum EIRP defined by country code + 10 (dBi). A value of -2 (this value is configurable only in factory) means don't care. A value of -1 (this value is configurable only in factory) means that the unit will not transmit until the actual value is configured.

What is bwaVLAntennaGain?

This sets the net antenna gain in dBi, including cable attenuation for detached antennas, up to the maximum EIRP allowed by the country code plus 10 dBi. Whether it is writable or read-only depends on whether bwaVLAntennaGainChange indicates the parameter is changeable; a factory-only value of -2 means don't-care and -1 blocks transmission until the actual gain is configured.
