bwaVLAUdisassociatedTRAP

Module: BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB::bwaVLAUdisassociatedTRAP

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.4.1.3.3

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: An AU/BU trap indicating that an SU/RB has been disassociated from the AU. The AU/BU decides that an SU/RB has been disassociated from it and remove it from the ADB after receiving from another AU/BU a SNAP frame with the SU/RB MAC address. The SNAP frame indicating a network topology change where the SU/RB has associated with another AU/BU will be received if both AUs/BUs are connected to the same Ethernet backbone.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB::bwaVLAUdisassociatedTRAP
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.4.1.3.3

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:50232->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (439732280) 50 days, 21:28:42.80
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB::bwaVLAUdisassociatedTRAP

SNMPv3 example:

snmptrap -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3user -a SHA -A "AuthPass1" -x AES -X "PrivPass1" <manager> '' BWA-DOT11-WLAN-MIB::bwaVLAUdisassociatedTRAP
