Description: Predefined application (media protocol) ID for this transparent proxy:
'sip' -> represents a SIP proxy Application Level Gateway (ALG); 'mgcp' -> represents a MGCP proxy ALG; 'rtsp' -> represents a multimedia proxy ALG; 'h323udp', 'h323tcp' -> represents a H323 UDP or TCP ALG.
What is ipProxyApplication?
Identifies which application-layer protocol this transparent proxy (Application Level Gateway) handles: SIP, MGCP, RTSP, or H.323 over UDP or TCP. For example, setting it to sip(1) makes this entry act as a SIP ALG that rewrites NAT addresses inside SIP signaling.
