Description: When set to on(1), PPTP echo requests as described in RFC 2637 are sent in regular intervals during the connection. If set to off(2), no PPTP echo requests will be performed, delete(3) determines the entry is marked for discard.
What is pptpProfileKeepalive?
This read-write setting controls whether the device sends PPTP echo requests, as defined in RFC 2637, at regular intervals to keep a control connection alive: on(1) enables the keepalive pings, off(2) disables them, and delete(3) marks the whole profile entry for removal. An admin would set this to on(1) for normal tunnel monitoring, or write delete(3) here to remove a profile from the table.
