What is pppoaPvcClientType?
This variable defines whether the PPP over AAL5 session on this PVC is established permanently or brought up only when traffic demands it. Setting pppoaPvcClientType to on-demand(2) saves connection resources by tearing the PPPoA session down during idle periods, while permanent(1) keeps it always up for latency-sensitive services. For example, a branch office with a metered ATM link would use on-demand(2) to avoid paying for an idle PPP session overnight.
