What is bdbufferSmTrim?

This metric counts how many small buffers were deallocated or reclaimed by the system during low-memory conditions. Trim activity reflects the device's memory management responding to pressure. Example: if trim count suddenly increases from 100 to 5,000, the system is aggressively freeing buffers to prevent out-of-memory errors.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.1.20
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-SYS::bdbufferSmTrim

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.1.20.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-SYS::bdbufferSmTrim.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> bdbufferSmTrim.1
