bdLThreshold
Module: BD-MIB
OID (symbolic): BD-MIB::bdLThreshold
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.51.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-only
Description: This object is the severity threshold for latency bottleneck. This threshold indicates the percentage of one-second intervals affected by latency conditions within a specified time window. The value of this OID is between 0 and 1.
What is bdLThreshold?
This floating-point threshold (between 0 and 1) sets the sensitivity for latency bottleneck detection as a percentage of affected one-second intervals. Admins tune this to balance false positives against real latency issues. Example: setting to 0.5 means a bottleneck alert fires when 50% of the sampled seconds show excessive latency, useful on links where some jitter is acceptable.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.51.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BD-MIB::bdLThreshold
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.51.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BD-MIB::bdLThreshold.1
