Description: The type of the last performed route switching. localRemote (1) : the route has been changed from local to remote route. remoteLocal (2) : the route has been changed from remote to local route. remoteRemote (4) : the route has been changed from remote to remote route. lsapChanged (8) : the route has been switched to another LSAPCB. lanAddrChanged (16) : the lan address of the route has been changed. Several bits may be set simultaneous.
What is bcamRouteTabSwitchType?
This read-only bitmask describes the last route switching event: localRemote(1)=switched to remote, remoteLocal(2)=switched to local, remoteRemote(4)=switched between remotes, lsapChanged(8)=link SAP changed, lanAddrChanged(16)=LAN address changed. Explains failover activity. Example: remoteLocal(2) means the route switched from requiring a router to being directly reachable.
