Module: BCAM-MIB
OID (symbolic): BCAM-MIB::bcamGlobalMaxRemoteIp
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.231.2.17.2.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The maximum length in bytes BCAM uses for an NSDU for an endsystem that is reached over at least one router
What is bcamGlobalMaxRemoteIp?
This read-only integer specifies the maximum packet size in bytes that BCAM uses when routing an NSDU (network service data unit) to a remote end-system via at least one router. Prevents packet fragmentation. Example: a value of 1500 bytes ensures packets don't exceed Ethernet MTU when routed through intermediate systems.
