bcamGlobalInWaitSet

Module: BCAM-MIB

OID (symbolic): BCAM-MIB::bcamGlobalInWaitSet

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.231.2.17.2.18

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The state of counting into the input wait time buckets. off (2) : the counting is stopped. on (1) : the counting is running.

What is bcamGlobalInWaitSet?

This read-write field controls whether BCAM is actively counting statistics for input wait times: on(1) enables collection, off(2) disables it. Helps reduce CPU overhead when detailed latency metrics aren't needed. Example: setting this to off(2) stops accumulating input delay histograms, freeing CPU cycles.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.231.2.17.2.18
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BCAM-MIB::bcamGlobalInWaitSet

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.231.2.17.2.18.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BCAM-MIB::bcamGlobalInWaitSet.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.231.2.17.2.18.1 i <value>
