What is btvPhysAddress?

This read-only MAC address is assigned to the virtual adapter for ARP resolution and layer-2 switching. Remote hosts use ARP to map this MAC to the virtual adapter's IP. Example: 00:1a:2b:3c:4d:5f is the MAC address advertised for 192.168.10.1; switches learn this MAC and forward VLAN-tagged frames accordingly.
