Description: The number of times a Path Remote Defect Indication has been detected. A PRDI occurs if bits 5,6 and 7 of the G1 byte received with the same value for 5 onsecutive frames.
What is basSonetPathPrdi?
Counts the number of times a Path Remote Defect Indication (PRDI) has been detected, which is signaled when bits 5, 6, and 7 of the G1 overhead byte hold the same value for five consecutive frames. This counter indicates how often the remote end has reported a path-level defect back to the local equipment.
