Description: The default value inserted into the Time-To-Live field of the IP header of datagrams originated at this entity, whenever a TTL value is not supplied by the transport layer protocol.
What is basIpDefaultTTL?
Shows the default Time-To-Live value placed in the IP header of packets originated by this device when the upper-layer protocol does not specify one. It limits how many router hops a packet can traverse before being discarded.
