p12vOutOfRange

Module: Amperion-MIB

OID (symbolic): Amperion-MIB::p12vOutOfRange

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.13995.4.16

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: The power supply is warning the main digital board that the +12v regulator is out of range. If the condition is such that it is too high, the decision may be to shutdown the regulator to avoid destroying the hardware

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' Amperion-MIB::p12vOutOfRange
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.13995.4.16

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:60462->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (409699374) 47 days, 10:03:13.74
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: Amperion-MIB::p12vOutOfRange
