Description: The serial number of the peer node that the system is presently communicating with. This is only used when authentication is set to unique.

What is peerDetectedSerialNumber?

This read-only object reports the serial number of the peer node the system is currently exchanging traffic with. Like uniquePeerAuthenticationKey, it is only meaningful when authenticationMode is set to unique, and comparing the two values confirms the link partner matches what was configured.
