Description: Indicates whether Automatic Adaptive Modulation(AAM) is enabled.
What is aamStatus?
This read-write object indicates whether Automatic Adaptive Modulation (AAM) is enabled, which lets the modem automatically step its modulation scheme (see mdmModulationType) up or down as link conditions change. Enabling it trades a fixed data rate for better link resilience during fades.
