Description: This variable specifies the origin of the clock being used by the interface's PHY controller. If the interface is using the line as its clock source, then it derives the clock from the inbound signal. If the interface is using the interface as its clock source, then it derives the clock internally.
What is aviciSonetMediumClockSource?
Configures or reports whether the SONET interface derives its transmit clock from the incoming line signal or from an internal source. Proper clock sourcing is critical for synchronizing SONET links and avoiding timing errors.
