Description: This variable specifies a threshold for the number of Far End Errored Seconds encountered by the SONET/SDH line entity in the current fifteen minute interval. If the value of sonetFarEndLineCurrentESs becomes greater than or equal to this value in the current fifteen minute interval, then a single aviciSonetFarEndLineEvent notification will be generated.
What is aviciSonetFarEndLineThresholdES?
Sets the alarm threshold for the number of Far End Errored Seconds reported by the remote end of a SONET/SDH line within the current 15-minute interval; when the far-end count meets or exceeds this value, a threshold-crossing event is generated. This enables monitoring of signal quality as experienced at the distant endpoint.
