What is physicalPortDefAutonegotiation?
This OID enables or disables automatic negotiation of the data rate between the port and its connected equipment. Network engineers enable this on flexible ports that can operate at multiple speeds, allowing the equipment to automatically detect and match the connected device's speed without manual configuration. Setting this to enabled allows a port to automatically negotiate whether it operates at 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps based on the connected interface, eliminating speed mismatches.
