What is opticalMuxDefAlsMode?
This object reports an enumerated value (automatic, manual-locked, disabled) controlling the Automatic Laser Shutdown (ALS) reaction on the network interface when Loss-of-Signal (LOS) is detected on the same or opposite direction. ALS is critical for laser safety to prevent unintended light emission into dark fiber. Example: automatic(1) triggers laser shutdown on LOS; disabled(3) keeps laser on for loopback testing.
