What is physicalPortCapTributarySlotMethod?
This OID stores whether tributary slots (time slots in multiplexed signals) are assigned automatically or require manual configuration on this port. A network engineer needs this information to understand how much flexibility exists when adding new tributary circuits to a multiplexed link. For example, automatic mode assigns the next available slot to a new signal; manual mode requires the engineer to explicitly specify which slot the new tributary occupies.
