This OID stores the maximum number of corrected errors the FEC decoder handles on an OTU during a 15-minute interval. Corrected errors are blocks the FEC successfully reconstructs, so high counts mean the physical signal is noisy but still functional. A threshold of 1,000,000 corrected errors in 15 minutes means the system warns you if FEC is working very hard fixing transmission problems.
