What is fwuHstSERFEthPortTxBroadcastPkts?
This counter measures broadcast packets sent from the port, which are typically control traffic and low-frequency protocol messages. A rising broadcast count can indicate network chatter, ARP storms, or misconfigured equipment that broadcasts excessively. For example, if this counter increases by 50,000 in 5 minutes while normal traffic is 10,000 packets per minute, broadcast traffic is clearly abnormal and should be investigated.
