What is a5Fatalcount?

This OID is a running counter that tracks how many critical, non-recoverable SCSI errors have occurred since the system was last powered on. Sysadmins monitor this to identify deteriorating hardware that should be replaced before it fails completely. For example, a value of "47" means 47 fatal errors have happened since last reboot—a number that suddenly jumps suggests imminent hardware failure.
