What is numInterfaces?

This counts how many network interfaces (NICs or network ports) are installed on the Adaptec system. Network engineers use this to verify that all expected interfaces are present and operational. A value of 4 means the system has 4 network interface controllers available for bonding or separate networks.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.795.3.1.2.3.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ADAPTECDURALINK-MIB::numInterfaces

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.795.3.1.2.3.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ADAPTECDURALINK-MIB::numInterfaces.1
