Description: The number of times the associated acdRegulatorStatsAcceptPkts counter has overflowed. This is a 32 bits counter. Combined with acdRegulatorStatsAcceptPkts, it provides the equivalent of the 64 bits counter acdRegulatorStatsAcceptHCPkts.
What is acdRegulatorStatsAcceptOverflowPkts?
This counter records how many times the 32-bit packet counter has overflowed back to zero at 4.3 billion. Network engineers use this to compute the true packet count on very busy interfaces where overflow is common. For example, a value of 2 indicates the packet counter has wrapped twice, representing over 8.5 billion total packets processed.
