Description: This is a count of the total number of linear Automatic Protection Switching (APS) PDU transmitted by the MEP (OpCode 39).
What is acdCfmMepStatsTxLinearApsPdu?
This counter tracks Automatic Protection Switching messages sent in a linear (two-node failover) topology when the primary path fails. When a link goes down, the MEP quickly sends protection switch commands to reroute traffic through the backup path. For example, a count of 5 may mean 5 failover events have occurred, each taking the system from primary to protection path.
