Description: The time that defects must be present before a Fault Alarm is issued (default 2500 milliseconds).
What is acdCfmMepCfgFngAlarmTime?
This OID sets how long (in milliseconds between 2500 and 10000) a fault must be present before the system raises an alarm, preventing false alerts from brief glitches. Network engineers increase this value on flaky links to reduce nuisance alarms, or decrease it on critical circuits to detect problems faster. For example, setting it to 5000 means the link must be down for 5 seconds before triggering an alarm, filtering out 1-2 second blips.
