Description:
The number of seconds between the periodic collections of accounting data when the value of the corresponding instance of acctngFileCollectMode includes 'periodically'. Some agents may impose restrictions on the range of this interval. This value may be modified at any time.
What is acctngFileInterval?
This OID sets how frequently (in seconds, from 60 to 86400 seconds or one day) the device writes periodic snapshots of accounting data to the file. Engineers configure this interval to balance between having detailed accounting records and not overloading the system with too many writes. For example, setting this to 3600 means accounting data is flushed to disk every hour.
