accTrapLogBufSize

Module: ACC-SYSTEM

OID (symbolic): ACC-SYSTEM::accTrapLogBufSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.10.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The trap log buffer size in kilobytes.

What is accTrapLogBufSize?

This OID sets the size of the in-memory trap log buffer in kilobytes (range 1 to 1024), controlling how many trap messages can be held before older entries wrap around. Network administrators tune this value to balance device memory usage against how much trap history they need to retain. Example: setting this to 512 allocates 512 KB of RAM for trap logging, allowing roughly 1000-2000 trap records depending on message size.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.10.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SYSTEM::accTrapLogBufSize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.10.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SYSTEM::accTrapLogBufSize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.10.3.1 i <value>
