accMemPoolAllocs

Module: ACC-SYSTEM

OID (symbolic): ACC-SYSTEM::accMemPoolAllocs

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.1.16.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: The number of allocation requests addressed to this memory pool.

What is accMemPoolAllocs?

This OID counts the cumulative number of memory allocation requests made to this pool since the device started operating. Engineers monitor this counter over time to understand memory usage patterns and predict growth trends that might lead to resource exhaustion. A value of 10000000 means the pool has processed 10 million allocation requests; combined with the failure rate, this shows overall memory subsystem health.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.1.16.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SYSTEM::accMemPoolAllocs

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.1.16.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SYSTEM::accMemPoolAllocs.1
