accMemPoolAlign
Module: ACC-SYSTEM
OID (symbolic): ACC-SYSTEM::accMemPoolAlign
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.1.16.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description:
The alignment this memory pool maintains. For example, a 4 in this field means memory from this pool is aligned on 32-bit boundaries.
What is accMemPoolAlign?
This OID specifies the memory alignment boundary (in bits) that the pool maintains when allocating blocks to satisfy alignment requirements. Engineers need this to understand allocation constraints and how processor-specific memory alignment affects performance and memory efficiency. A value of 4 means memory is aligned on 32-bit (4-byte) boundaries, so the smallest usable allocation granule is 4 bytes.
