accDate

Module: ACC-SYSTEM

OID (symbolic): ACC-SYSTEM::accDate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.1.4.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description:

The octet string of six bytes representing the date and time has the following format: YYMMDDHHMMSS where the valid range of values for each of the bytes is as follows: YY 0..99 MM 1..12 DD 1..31 HH 0..23 MM 0..59 SS 0..59

What is accDate?

This OID stores and retrieves the device's current date and time in YYMMDDHHMMSS format (year, month, day, hour, minute, second). Network engineers use this to synchronize the device's clock with the actual time, which is critical for accurate log timestamps. Setting this to 260703141530 means the device clock is set to July 3, 2026 at 14:15:30 (2:15:30 PM).
