Module: ACC-RIP

OID (symbolic): ACC-RIP::accRipProfilePacketGap

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.13.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

The inter-packet gap between fragmented updates in 1/100's of a second.

What is accRipProfilePacketGap?

This OID sets the inter-packet delay in hundredths of a second (0 to 100) between RIP update packets when a single update must be split across multiple packets. Network engineers configure this to prevent flooding slow interfaces or legacy devices that cannot handle rapid-fire packets. Setting to 10 introduces a 0.1-second gap between consecutive packets in a fragmented update burst.
