accRipImportPref
Module: ACC-RIP
OID (symbolic): ACC-RIP::accRipImportPref
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.19.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
The preference that RIP will assign to a route matching this policy. The preference is used to determine precedence between other routing protocols that learn paths to the same destination.
What is accRipImportPref?
This OID stores a preference value (1-255) that determines priority of RIP routes against other routing protocols. Network engineers use higher preference values to make RIP routes more likely to be chosen over OSPF, BGP, or other sources to the same destination. For example, a value of 120 gives RIP routes medium-high priority compared to other routing protocols.
