Description: The metric that is to be used when importing a route that has matched this policy. The value 16 tells RIP to use the protocol owners metric.
What is accRipImportMetric?
This OID sets the RIP metric (hop count) value, ranging from 1-16, to assign to routes matching this import policy. Network engineers configure this to override the original metric and influence how routing decisions favor certain routes. For example, setting this to 5 reassigns all matching routes a hop count of 5.
