accRipExportProtocol
Module: ACC-RIP
OID (symbolic): ACC-RIP::accRipExportProtocol
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.18.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The routing protocol by which the route was learned.
What is accRipExportProtocol?
This OID identifies which routing protocol originally learned or provided the route being exported (RIP, OSPF, BGP, static, etc.). Network engineers care about the source protocol to understand route reliability and whether they should trust the metric values from that source. For example, a value of 3 might indicate the route came from OSPF, while a value of 1 indicates it was learned via RIP.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.18.1.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-RIP::accRipExportProtocol
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.18.1.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-RIP::accRipExportProtocol.1
