Description:
If generating a default route this is the metric that will be used in updates sent out this interface.
What is accRip2IfConfExtDefaultMetric?
This OID stores the RIP metric (cost) value assigned to default routes when this interface advertises them; valid range is 1 to 15, where lower numbers indicate more attractive routes. Network engineers configure this when broadcasting a default route to influence how likely remote routers are to use this device as their gateway. For example, setting it to 1 makes the default route very attractive to neighbors, while setting it to 15 makes it a less preferred fallback route.
